Thanksgiving seasoning
I was looking at a seasoning mix that was similar to poultry seasoning but with a brighter flavor, and Trader Joe's Everything But the Leftovers Seasoning Blend was highly recommended, but it was $11.90 for just a 2.6 oz bottle, and ended up looking at Bell's All Natural Seasoning at almost $4 per oz (not much cheaper but it is a smidgen cheaper). https://www.famousfoods.com/bealse1oz.html

I made this about a week ago, and absolutely loved the result, making more than one batch two broth versions. I don't see how anyone can possibly immerse this in just one cup of water, btw. :

and about 4 days ago I made this, and I don't care if it tastes like cheese or not. My memory of cheese is vague and salty. This tofu blend was super easy to make up, delicious on bagels, naan, sandwiches, or melted on cooked vegetables. Next time I make it I am going to add a tad more of the agar-agar to the recipe, though I liked the firmness with my first try well enough. You could slice it, but it was like slicing a block of silken tofu....which is what it started with. Next time I want it to be a little more firm.

This is a beet salad I would like to make for Thanksgiving, subbing in the tofu-cheese from above for the feta cheese. The lunch meat is what I am going to season to go as a cold side protein dish.
